Defence contractors prepare Public Australian Industry Capability (AIC) Plans to inform industry of forward opportunities to participate in Defence projects and sustainment activities.
The publication of Public AIC Plans is undertaken in accordance with the Australian Standard for Defence Contracting, AIC Program and is consistent with the broader Australian Industry Participation initiatives.
Plans contain the contact details for an appropriate representative from the Contractor to enable companies to discuss the opportunities and register their interest.
The Plans can be accessed below and are accurate as at the date of publication.

| 30 Jan 2019 | Maritime DDG Transition Support Period Combat Systems Integrator Contract BAE, the managing contractor, has contracted Raytheon Australia, the combat system integration materiel subcontractor, for the provision of sustainment services during the transition support period. This Public AIC Plan outlines details of Raytheon Australia’s contracted scope of work and the associated development of Australian industry capability in delivering the required capability to BAE Systems Australia. This plan is a subset of the BAE AIC Plan for sustainment of the DDGs.

| 1 Oct 2018 | Maritime SEA 1180 Phase 1 Offshore Patrol Vessels Luerssen Australia is contracted by the Commonwealth of Australia as the prime contractor responsible for building 12 Offshore Patrol Vessels for the Royal Australian Navy. Construction started in November 2018 and is expected to be completed around 2029-30.
