Public Australian Industry Capability Plans
Defence contractors prepare Public Australian Industry Capability (AIC) Plans to inform industry of forward opportunities to participate in Defence projects and sustainment activities.
The publication of Public AIC Plans is undertaken in accordance with the Australian Standard for Defence Contracting, AIC Program and is consistent with the broader Australian Industry Participation initiatives.
Plans contain the contact details for an appropriate representative from the Contractor to enable companies to discuss the opportunities and register their interest.
The Plans can be accessed below and are accurate as at the date of publication.

21 Mar 2023 | Land Land 8116 Phase 1 Protected Mobile Fires Land 8116 Phase 1 Tranche 1 will deliver 30 Self-Propelled Howitzers and 15 Armoured Ammunition Resupply Vehicles to provide the Australian Defence Force a Self-Propelled Artillery capability with the mobility, lethality and protection required to support Joint Force operations. The vehicles will predominantly be built and sustained in Hanwha’s Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence, located adjacent to Avalon Airport in Greater Geelong, VIC, supported by their local sub-contractors throughout Australia, and overseas industry partners.
