Permit application forms are now available in the WPA Portal in ServiceConnect.

The Woomera Prohibited Area (WPA ) Portal is available as part of Defence’s ServiceConnect, and is accessible to all non-Defence users, with identity and access verified through myID (the Australian Government’s Digital Identity app).

Submitting a permit application in ServiceConnect via the WPA Portal is the fastest way to request access and provides:

  • visibility of the status of the request
  • email updates and status notifications on the progress of the application
  • history of both active and expired permissions.
