PostingConnect

PostingConnect is a Defence platform designed to support ADF members and their families through domestic postings that include a removal.

Choosing to use PostingConnect will streamline the relocation process and deliver benefits to ADF members and their families.

  • Provides a step-by-step guide through the posting process.
  • Provides a single location from which a posting can be managed, with direct access to Toll Transitions and Defence Housing Australia (DHA).
  • Accessible from any device including phones, tablets, and computers.
  • Accessible both on and off the Defence network.
  • Automatically references Defence personnel information.
  • Allows for nominee access to assist with posting tasks.

Currently, only domestic postings of fulltime ADF members with a removal benefit are supported by PostingConnect. Future updates will include options such as overseas and transition-out postings.

Access

Shortly after receiving an eligible posting order, an ADF member will receive an email inviting them to use PostingConnect for their upcoming posting.

Create an account

A PostingConnect account must be created via the Defence network using the username and temporary password contained in the email.

  1. On the Defence network, login to PostingConnect using the login button above.

  2. Enter the username and password provided in the invitation email.

  3. Create a new password.

  4. Provide more information, setting up at least 2 additional identity authentication options.

  5. Complete the posting profile questions.

Once a PostingConnect account has been created on the Defence network it can be accessed from any device both on and off the network.

A nominee can be added to a PostingConnect account. The nominee will have a separate account that allows them to view the same posting information and complete tasks on behalf of the member.

Login

To login, use a web browser on any device including phones, tablets, and computers. Select the login button above and enter an @posting.defence.gov.au username and password.
