Overview

Advanced Australian English Language course (AAELC) is part of English Language course series.

The course is designed to develop English language proficiency and the military and sociocultural knowledge for students attending other courses requiring higher level of language skills. 

 

Learning Outcomes

  • English language skills improvement.
  • Demonstrate a variety of English Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening skills commensurate with achieving ADFELPS level 7.

Prerequisites

  • A minimum Australian Defence Force English Language Profiling System (ADFELPS) level of S6, L6, R6, W6.
  • Completion of the Australian Reception Period course.

Audience

International military

International military personnel participating in Defence Cooperation Program (DCP) intending to improve their ADFELPS level from overall level 6 to overall level 7.
