Standing Offer for Services template is for use when establishing a standing offer arrangement with a supplier or a panel of suppliers for the engagement of consultants, professional service providers and other contractors to provide services to Defence that are of short to medium duration.

Further guidance on when to use ASDEFCON (Standing Offer for Services) has been included in the Contract template selection and tailoring guide.

Standing Offer for Services template was updated in June 2026 and incorporated updates to Shadow Economy and various other updates in Defence policies and commercial standards.

In addition, minor typographical and grammatical changes have been made, along with updated weblinks and references.
