Effective December 2015, updated July 2024.
Request for quotation (Form AC565) and purchase order and contract (Form SP020) forms should be used when undertaking procurements that are for firm price, commercially available goods and repair services, where the risk to the Commonwealth is low and where the time frame for delivery is short.
Further guidance on when to use the AC565 and SP020 forms has been included in the Contract template selection and tailoring guide.
The ASDEFCON (SP020) template was updated in July 2024 to incorporate The Commonwealth Supplier Code of Conduct (the Code). The Code outlines the Commonwealth's minimum expectations of suppliers and their subcontractors while under contract with the Commonwealth and places a positive duty on suppliers to take proactive action to prevent and discourage breaches of the Code.
The Code applies to all Commonwealth contracts entered into after 1 July 2024.
