The Integrated Product Support (IPS) Manual establishes Defence's enterprise approach to IPS. The manual provides high-level guidance for the planning, development, implementation, assurance, and continuous improvement of support systems across the capability lifecycle.
Supporting implementation of the IPS Policy, the manual provides enterprise-level management guidance on how IPS integrates across the Defence Capability System. It is the authoritative reference for integrating, managing, and assuring support systems across all capability phases. Detailed guidance, tools, and artefacts will be released progressively to support implementation.
The manual does not change existing job families, contractual obligations, approved project baselines, or in-progress deliverables.
