Attending an international trade show or participating in a trade mission with Defence is a cost-effective option for eligible companies looking to export their products and services, benchmark themselves internationally or research their competitors. Defence procures the floor space and builds the exhibition stand, with companies only needing to finance their flights and accommodation.

Companies are selected to participate in Defence delegations based on their product offerings and proven track record in line with the domain or focus of each event.

Expression of interest

Expressions of interest (EOI) for the events are made available through the Team Defence Australia Industry Capability Network (ICN) page. Companies will need to register on ICN in order to submit an EOI.

Preparing for an event

Eligible companies are provided the opportunity to exhibit on the Defence stand free of charge.

ODIS provides a range of training and mentoring options, such as presentation skills training, perfecting the quad chart and cultural awareness training.

Quad charts are required for all Defence trade events and are recognised as a key marketing tool by defence primes and other military and commercial customers around the world.
