The ADF Health Strategy outlines a vision of how Defence will evolve its health system to support the needs of the future war-fighter and prepare for the challenges posed by an increasingly complex operating environment.
The strategy has 2 leading pillars, Force Optimisation and Operational Health capability, ensuring alignment with:
- Defence’s mission
- Defence Corporate Plan
- Defence Planning Guidance.
This strategy aligns the work performed by stakeholders across the Defence health system, bringing together past work with current and future projects and initiatives, to deliver a ready, responsive and resilient system for the future.
The implementation of this strategy will require a united One Defence approach: an effort that will connect initiatives across Defence with other partners including the Department of Veterans' Affairs, industry and academia.
