Team Defence Australia events

Throughout Financial Year (FY) 2016–17 Team Defence Australia (TDA) will lead trade missions to the events listed below.

Companies interested in participating in a TDA trade mission should refer to the new 2 step application process:

Step 1 - Complete the annual master application if your company is interested in attending any TDA trade mission throughout FY 2016–17. Companies are required to complete this form only once per financial year (1 July to 30 June).

Step 2 - Complete the individual mission application for each specific TDA trade mission your company is interested in attending. TDA will release this application closer to the time of each trade mission and will advise when submission is required.

The new application process assesses companies based on the following:

  • Is the company export ready?
  • Does the company manufacture in Australia?
  • Does the company support the Australian Defence Force? 
  • Does the company produce a product or service that supports a Priority Industry Capability?  

Companies selected to participate in a TDA trade mission will receive a letter of offer. Companies will also be required to accept the TDA terms and conditions.

Please note Team Defence Australia reserves the right to cancel a proposed trade mission at any time.
