Defence has launched a new resource to help inform current and ex-serving members about the impact of malaria on the ADF. Available online, the new resource includes information on malaria, medications used to prevent malaria, the Army Malaria Institute (AMI) and the studies conducted in Timor-Leste in 2000-2002, during which some participants took mefloquine. It also provides contacts and links to other departments and agencies, such as the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
