Program Performance Division
Program Performance Division (PPD) provides corporate and enabling services and governance across Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). These include information management; audit management; CASG planning; reporting; strategic human resources; risk management; media and government communications management; work health and safety and staff support; the Australian Military Sales Office; and materiel asset disposals.
PPD includes four branches:
- Governance and Management Branch provide the essential elements of the governance, communications, strategic HR, WHS, security and facilities to support CASG as it becomes a more business-like, accountable and outcome-driven organisation. The branch is also responsible for coordinating CASG's Professionalisation Program.
- Acquisition and Sustainment Policy Branch is responsible for planning and coordinating policy associated with change as it effects CASG. These elements include the First Principle Review, Centres of Expertise, Systems Program Offices and logistics support and reform.
- Program Management Branch provide the expertise for project estimation; project and sustainment management (including policy, practice and professionalisation); asset management; performance analysis; and benchmarking.
- Disposals and Sales Branch oversee the acquisition and disposal of Defence materiel assets inline with national and international control and policy guidelines.
