Woodside Camp was established in 1927 for training light horse and infantry. In the 1950s it was used as a migration reception camp in addition to military use. In 2015, the former married quarters area, known as Inverbrackie, was subdivided from the site and sold. 

Separate to the estate audit, nearly all Australian Defence Force personnel have moved to RAAF Base Edinburgh for capability reasons unrelated to the estate audit.

This site serves as office space, live-in accommodation Army Reserves and Cadet training facility.

Functions

Warradale Barracks is located approximately 11km south of Adelaide central business district. The site contains maintenance areas, workshops, fuel store, and administration, training, logistics and distribution facilities. This site will be partially divested to retain the critical capability, with the exact portions to be finalised through the divestment process.

This site serves as office space, storage, logistics and distribution base for Army Reserves.

Edinburgh Parks is a legacy land holding from the sale of 650 hectares of Defence land at Edinburgh that was declared surplus to requirements in the mid-1990s, following the consolidation and modernisation of the laboratories at Defence Science and Technology Edinburgh.
