Originally a part of a much larger 47 hectare area, this site was established in 1941 for the Royal Australian Engineers. This site was more recently used as a Reserve and Cadet training facility. This site was declared surplus is 2017 and is currently vacant with divestment underway.

This site has been vacant since 2016. 

Many security incidents including unauthorised access and theft have resulted in costly repairs.

The Pittwater Dive Annex supports diving training at HMAS Penguin. This site will be retained as it hosts a critical capability that cannot be easily relocated.
