This capability will greatly enhance Defence’s extant bulk fuel distribution systems by providing a significantly higher capacity to deploy, distribute, store and mobilise bulk amounts of fuel for aviation and diesel. 

This is planned to support a deployed force and ensure it can continue to operate aircraft, vehicles, and machinery across the spectrum of operations including humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and combat operations.

The Bushmaster is a constant four-wheel drive vehicle. It has been designed with a V-shaped armoured hull, which deflects blasts from underneath the vehicle. This capability provides the ability to protect troops inside the vehicle.

The Bushmaster was introduced into service in Australia over the period 2004–16 and has been highly successful. Australia’s current fleet comprises 789 Bushmaster vehicles, across nine variants.

The Hawkei is an Australian built light-weight four-wheel drive Protected Mobility Vehicle. It is highly mobile and highly protected with inbuilt systems allowing the vehicle to operate as an integral part of the combined arms team. Defence is acquiring 1098 Vehicles in 2 variants, and 1058 companion trailers.

The project will deliver a mounted force level electronic warfare capability in support of the Land Force Commander. The project  will build on the Protected Mobility Vehicles. The project is scoped to provide tactical electronic warfare systems mounted and vehicle capabilities as well as storage and maintenance facilities to Army.

The project provides Army with a Battle Management System and an integrated Tactical Communications Network to transform command and control of Land Forces into a modern networked system.

The project is the heart of Australia’s Army military digital evolution and comprises of two major sub systems:

The project provides systems to protect against Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices, equipment for Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, Search, Neutralisation and Exploitation capabilities. Defence is in collaboration with Australian industry and capability will be delivered through the maximisation of sovereign product, expertise and sustainment.

Defence has contracted Hanwha Defence Australia to deliver and support 129 locally built Redback infantry fighting vehicles for the Australian Army.

The total value of the project is approximately $7 billion dollars, representing the single largest investment in Army capability to date. The combined value of the acquisition and initial support contracts is approximately $4.5 billion dollars.

LAND 19 Phase 7B will deliver Army’s new Short Range Ground Based Air Defence system, which will form a component of the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defence (JIAMD) capability.

This project will replace the current Short Range Air Defence (SHORAD) capability, including the RBS-70, as the Army's principal air defence weapon. While the new capability  will be able to operate independently, it will be designed to operate as the inner layer of the broader JIAMD capability.

LAND 121 Phase 3B/5B is delivering medium and heavy field vehicles, modules and trailers as well as the associated support systems. The vehicles will replace the Australian Defence Force's (ADF) Mack and Unimog vehicles which have been in service since the early 1980s, and will enhance performance and protection for the ADF’s logistic support capability by providing uniformity throughout the fleet. 

The project is delivering Combat Radios and ancillary equipment as an upgrade to Land Force. A mature support system for the new generation Combat and Tactical Data Radios will also be established.
