The Office of the Defence Seaworthiness Regulator (ODSwR) supports the Defence maritime community in understanding and meeting the DSwMS compliance obligations.
The ODSwR also works with Capability Managers to assist them to deliver the Seaworthiness Outcome.
The Office performs vital functions, such as developing regulations, reviewing compliance strategies, conducting assurance, undertaking legislative scanning and providing education and advice to the Defence maritime community.
The ODSwR was officially stood up November 2017.
