Operation Charter was the Australian Defence Forces (ADF) contribution to United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP).

Operation CHARTER was established in 2019 to support the first Australian Commander of the UN Mission. UNFICYP is one of the longest running UN peacekeeping missions, established in 1964 to prevent further conflict between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities and bring about a return to normal conditions. The military component of UNFICYP consists of a peacekeeping force of approximately 800 soldiers from 15 troop contributing countries.
