The Defence News Bureau is seeking volunteers to take part in user research to help shape the new digital Air Force, Army and Navy newspapers, which will complement the current print products.

We are interested in talking with Australian Defence Force (ADF) permanent members, reservists and veterans who read the Service newspapers. We will be conducting interviews with volunteers to test early website designs and prototypes.

When

Mid-late April 2026.

What to expect

If selected, you'll be invited to a 45-60 minutes remote session via Microsoft Teams. During the session you'll:

• View and test a prototype of the new Services newspapers websites.
• Complete simple tasks using the prototype.
• Share your thoughts on the design and usability.
