Web and Mobile Apps

The following links are to mental health apps that can be run on the web and/or downloaded to smart phones.

HeadStrength – a new mental health and wellbeing mobile app designed and tailored for Defence.

Modern and accessible, ‘HeadStrength’ is a purpose built app for the Defence community, which delivers mental health and wellbeing resources directly to the user based on their current level of wellbeing.

The app gives the user the ability to anonymously self-check and instantly link to a range of tools and resources that are relevant and specific to their current level of wellbeing.

HeadStrength is user centred, evidence informed and action oriented. Through it we provide meaningful tools and relevant resources that empower the user to seek the help they need, when they need it.

HeadStrength is available to all members of the Defence community who are eligible to access ForceNet. It will be available to download through ForceNet from 20 October 2020.

If you have trouble installing the app from ForceNet please call 1800 DEFENCE. If you experience issues using it or require further information, please call the DEFENCE ICT SERVICE DESK 133 272 (Defence Personnel) or 1800 DEFENCE (1800 333 362) (family/friends). For Defence Protected iOS Support, contact the MOBILES HELPDESK 133 136.

You are able to provide feedback through the app and for any other non-technical questions you can contact the Defence team on adfcmh.ops@defence.gov.au
