The Defence Business Plan provides all Defence personnel with guidance about how the activities listed in the Defence Corporate Plan will be implemented.
The Defence Business Plan aligns with the One Defence Business Model and demonstrates how the different parts of Defence contribute to achieving whole-of-Defence outcomes. The Defence Business Plan is a living document and will be updated as and when our strategic priorities change.
Performance against the Defence Business Plan is monitored by the Enterprise Business Committee and the Defence Committee three times each year (November, March and July). Performance against the Defence Corporate Plan will be reported to Parliament in the Defence Annual Report in accordance with Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) requirements.
The E&IG Business Plans are intended to set out the strategic direction of the Group including E&IG's mission, vision, operating principles and key priorities.
