As part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program, Australia is upgrading wharf infrastructure to ensure the safe and secure berthing of the Guardian-class Patrol Boats.

Works are at various stages of procurement and delivery in all 13 nations, with main works now complete in 6 Pacific nations (Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, Cook Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu and Kiribati).

Construction and detailed design works in the remaining seven nations will recommence once COVID-19 travel restrictions lift.
