Moem Barracks live-in accommodation

The Moem Barracks (Wewak) live-in accommodation project will improve the standard of living and operational capability of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) through construction of a new 100-person live-in accommodation block and associated supporting services. Upgrades to services will focus on improving energy and water security for the building and wider base population.

This is achieved by restoring the functionality of the water and wastewater systems at the Goldie River Training Depot and the wastewater system at Igam Barracks.

Construction commenced in October 2022.
