Operation Charter

Operation Charter was established in 2019 to support the first Australian Commander of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP).

UNFICYP is one of the longest running UN peacekeeping missions, established in 1964 to prevent further conflict between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities and bring about a return to normal conditions.
