The Defence Infrastructure Panel – Major Construction rates are not published.

The panel schedule of rates are made up of 7 core key role Position Descriptions. For each engagement, panellists may utilise any or all of these roles, as required. Where additional Position Descriptions and associated rates are required for a particular engagement, the additional schedule of rates will not be subject to validation.

The rates will only be provided:

• to inform procurement activities where a schedule of rates response has been sought as part of the tender documents. The Panel team will validate the Panel rates against those rates submitted at time of tender.
• to validate a variation that has been issued under an active engagement and the variation is on the basis of the panellist schedule of rates.

If seeking a rate to inform the Endorsement to Proceed, the Panel team can provide an average. 

Note: there is a 3 day turnaround for all requests related to rates, to allow time to validate rates. This time should be included in the procurement planning.
