Defence Export Controls (DEC) proactively engages with exporters to assist with navigating Australia’s export controls system, build understanding and foster compliance.
This is achieved by making information readily available on the DEC website, conducting outreach activities, and through forums.
Further information on the changes being introduced, including the new permit controls, AUKUS licence-free environment, and the implementation of the changes can be found on Defence Trade Controls Amendment Act 2024 and Defence Trade Legislation Amendment Regulations 2024 page.
