Rights of Review and Appeal

A person whose interests have been affected by a prescribed decision under s.62(1) of the Woomera Prohibited Area Rule 2014 may apply to the Minister for a review of the decision.

  • The application must be made in writing.
  • If an application is made, the Minister must review the decision; and confirm, vary, or revoke the decision.
  • The Minister must give the person written notice of the decision on the review within 20 business days of receiving the application for review.

Applications may be made to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for review of the Minister's decisions under s.62(4) of the Woomera Prohibited Area Rule 2014.
