Cairns Area Office

The Cairns Area Office team provides ADF members and families with local information and access to support and information services. It organises regular events for fulltime current serving ADF members and their Defence recognised dependants.

The team consists of a Family Liaison Officer, a Defence Social Worker and a Navy Military Support Officer who are always more than happy to meet, engage with and support the members and their families. The team can assist with any questions they may have regarding the local services and facilities, such as recreational activities, community groups, health and environmental issues associated with living in a tropical region.
