The Defence Grants: Family Support Funding Program (FSFP) offers grants for not-for-profit organisations each year.

The grant funds innovative projects that empower current serving military families to navigate the challenges and opportunities of military life by supporting the Defence and Veteran Family Wellbeing Strategy 2025-2030 and the Defence Strategy for Preventing and Responding to Family and Domestic Violence 2023-2028. 

Eligible organisations can apply for a grant between $20,000 and $200,000.

FSFP application round

Applications for grants for the Financial Year 2025 – 2027 round open from Tuesday 2 December 2025 and close at 5:00 pm AEDT on Saturday 31 January 2026.

The grant period is for an extended cycle round from March 2026 to June 2027. Projects must be completed by 30 June 2027.
