Defence offers unique training and development opportunities for reservists. These programs build on existing professional experience and support both military service and civilian careers.

Reservists should discuss learning and development options with their chain of command or career manager to confirm eligibility and any prerequisites.

The following information is for members of the Reserves in Service categories (SERCATs) 3, 4 and 5. Reservists performing continuous full-time service (SERVOP C) are eligible for the same benefits as members of the Permanent Forces.

Eligibility differs depending on personal and professional circumstances. Follow the links in each section to learn more.
