Humanitarian Operations Seminar

A seminar that provides participants an understanding of the differing roles and language used by those involved in Humanitarian and Disaster Relief operations. Participants will come away with a greater appreciation of how the Australian Government response complements that of others and the crucial role a host nation plays in a rapid onset or complex emergency event.

It is aimed at Australian and international personnel from military, policing and government and non-government organisations that are involved in the conduct of peace and/or humanitarian operations.

Participants in the seminars are generally at mid to senior level within their organisations at the O3 – O6 military equivalent
