Defence held an information session in April 2026 to engage with the community on the Defence Audit and divestment of sites. Community members shared valuable local insights and feedback with Defence. This feedback will help inform transition planning and next steps.

Functions
This small arms rifle range and training area is located 15km south-east of RAAF Base Amberley. It supports activities for Defence personnel located at Amberley.
This site is used for small arms training and a training area for heavy vehicle drivers, bush training and ground defence exercises.
