Functions

Latchford Barracks is one of the 4 garrisons within the Albury-Wodonga Military Area. The Barracks is located approximately 10km away from the other garrisons and was originally built as a personnel staging camp during World War II.

This site serves as office space, logistics, live‑in accommodation, and provides field training areas, a simulation training centre and Army Reserves training facility.

Relocation

Latchford Barracks personnel will relocate to other sites within the Albury-Wodonga Military Area. Gaza Ridge Barracks (South), 10 km away, has capacity for additional functions.
