Community information session
Defence is holding a community drop-in session about the divestment. This is an opportunity for the community to speak with Australian Government representatives about the divestment process, transition planning and next steps.

- Attendance is welcome anytime between 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Please note there will not be a formal presentation at the event.

Functions
Situated just over an hour from Melbourne, the partial divestment consists of a parcel of land at HMAS Cerberus, including the publicly accessible golf course, licenced to the Cerberus Golf Club.
This section of the site provides a golf course and vacant land.
Government will engage with existing tenants as part of the divestment process.
Only the golf course and vacant land will be divested. Functions such as Defence Housing Australia homes, service residences, child care centre and the military cemetery, training range and facilities, and access roads will be retained.
Child care centre services will be retained within the Base.
