Community information session

Defence is holding a community walk-in information session about the divestment. This is an opportunity for the community to speak with Australian Government representatives about the divestment process, transition planning and next steps.

Functions

Situated in the heritage suburb of Haberfield, recognised as Australia’s first garden suburb, the site was vacated by Defence in the 1990s.

Remediation was undertaken in 2003 and the site has since been divested to support a 22-lot subdivision for residential use.

This site was divested in 2025.
