Defence uses Government EasyPay to make it easy for people to make payments to Defence. The phone and online payment solution is a secure platform.
Defence accepts payment of Australian Dollar debts with an invoice value less than $10,000 via the following card payments:
- Visa
- Mastercard

There are no card payment fees.
Note: Visa or Mastercard debit card can function like any credit card but can provide direct access to funds in a deposit or savings account, rather than a line of credit.
When making a payment using any of the card services, a receipt number will be provided. The transaction will appear on the payee's card statement as ‘Defence Debt Pymt’.
