Examination leave

You may get examination leave if you have to sit exams for your studies.

Who can get examination leave?

You may get examination leave if you are a member of the:

  • Permanent Forces, or
  • Reserves on continuous full-time service.

How much examination leave can I get?

You may get up to five days' examination leave per year to sit exams. This doesn't include weekends and public holidays.

Which courses can I get examination leave for?

Your course of study must be one for which you got Commonwealth financial help to pay fees.

You may get leave for the exam and for travel to and from the exam.
