Note: Before submitting an Application to Make a Brokering Arrangement DEC recommends that you use the Online DSGL Tool to assess whether the activity you propose to conduct is controlled, and if so, whether the goods, software or technology are listed on the DSGL.
You should only submit an Application to Make a Brokering Arrangement if:
If you cannot determine whether your goods, software or technology are listed in the DSGL you should submit an Application for DSGL Assessment.
This application form is for a registered broker to apply for a permit to arrange a brokering activity.
A brokering arrangement is where a registered broker arranges another person to supply Defence and Strategic Goods List controlled goods or technology from a place outside Australia to another place outside Australia

Once you have downloaded the form, you should open it in Adobe Reader to complete it. When the form is complete, you will be prompted to submit it via email to us.
* If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro or another PDF editor on your system, these programs may be set as your default reader for accessing PDF documents. If this is the case, you will have to tell the system to open the form with Adobe Reader.
