Safety of the Australian public and Exercise participants is our highest priority. All commanders, from the most junior to the most senior, are responsible for the wellbeing and safety of personnel under their command and the community where they operate.
Exercise participants must take all reasonably practicable steps to satisfy their own “duty of care” responsibilities by ensuring they do not, by any act or omission, create a risk or increase an existing risk to the health or safety of themselves or others.
Exercise participants receive a detailed brief before the exercise, describing local risks, their obligations, and special tips for our overseas guests such as road rules and local fauna.
