The Defence Aviation Safety Authority is pursuing an integrated approach to Australian Aviation State Safety Programs, through closer engagement and increased cooperation with all agencies responsible for civil aviation safety.
Thursday 28th February 2019
The two hour panel discussion and workshop will bring together leaders from the Defence and civil aviation industries, to discuss how further collaboration is needed to support a more sustainable aviation industry in Australia. The panel will be challenged to consider how the barriers currently preventing a single industry can be resolved, and in doing so consider how this would benefit both industries and the wider Australian economy.
The workshop will be hosted By Mr Mike Kalms of KPMG and AIRCDRE James Hood and will feature the panel members – AIRCDRE Jason Agius (DGDASA) and Mr Jonathan Aleck (Executive Manager, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, CASA).
We would like to see as many of our Defence Aviation Industry contractors there as possible so that we can gain a good understanding of your issues, as we strive towards forming a single aviation sector within Australia. The event is free once on-site, however if you are interested in attending, please register through the Australian International Aerospace Congress (AIAC) website - https://www.aiac18.com/single-aviation-industry-workshop/
