AIR DOMAIN MAINTENANCE TRAINING ORGANISATION

DASA wishes to advise that the primary framework to meet the DASR 147 (Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation) requirements will be through the creation of a single Air Domain Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) by December 2018.

Air Force Training Group (AFTG) is developing an Air Domain MTO Exposition (MTOE) to demonstrate how the ADO meets the requirements of the DASR 147. This MTOE covers relevant ADF units and contracted agencies that deliver Military aviation maintenance training. Details regarding the reasons for the formation of the Air Domain MTO and its responsibilities can be found on the DASA website under DASR 147 Key Documents.

AFTG will soon be approaching relevant training managers through the DLC network to seek the development of detailed MTOE annexes. The intent to have the MTOE fully developed and released by the end of November 2018.

The AFTG DASR 147 POC is WGCDR Richard Launder on 03 9256 3167 or richard.launder@defence.gov.au.

Further details and information on how DASR 147 will be implemented by AFTG into Defence will be issued shortly.
