The Australian Defence Force Academy’s (ADFA) Trainee Officer Sponsor and Mentoring Scheme is designed to assist Midshipmen and Officer Cadets who are in their first year at the Academy in managing the transition from civilian to military and Academy life. If you are interested in joining the scheme, please complete the Sponsor and Mentoring Scheme 2020 Application Form by Tuesday 18 February 2020. For those people who join the scheme and are allocated a Midshipman or Officer Cadet, the Australian Defence Force Academy will be holding an introduction evening commencing at 1800 hrs on Thursday, 20 February 2020 at the Academy Cadets Mess. This is the first opportunity for sponsors and mentors (including families) to be introduced to the Trainee Officers. Attendance is highly encouraged, but is not compulsory. Sponsors and mentors who cannot attend will be advised of their allocated Midshipman or Officer Cadet and a private introduction can be arranged.
