Overview of Placement: Fleet Support Unit - Perth consists of Mechanical, Electrical and Weapons and Logistics Workshops. These areas are involved in the maintenance and repair of RAN Ships and Submarines.
Work experience can include but is not limited to mechanical; hydraulic, machining, welding, refrigeration, air conditioning; and electrical/electronic fields.
Note: limited to nil public transport to base.
Special Conditions of Placement: Students should have a demonstrated interest in this career path.
