Overview of Placement: 5/6 RVR is the Army's Infantry Battalion for Melbourne. Under close supervision of highly trained Defence personnel, Students will engage a variety of indoor and outdoor activities commonly undertaken by the ARMY Infantry Corps which may include weapons simulation (WTSS) activities, marching and drill, life in the field exercises, navigation exercises and ARMY history and traditions. Students will be expected to complete a brief presentation on a military topic of their choice on the final day of their placement. Work Experience co-ordinators are encouraged to attend this presentation.
Special Conditions of Placement: Preference given to students residing in the local area.
