Duration of Placement: 2 days - operational dependant
Placement Limits: 14 max. Block placement bookings applications will not be accepted.
Overview of Placement: Students will be exposed to a program of indoor and outdoor activities providing participants with an insight into a wide range of jobs including: aircrew type employment through to engineering, maintenance, logistics, air traffic control, fire & rescue, administration and many others. Commencing at approx. 8.00am and finishing at 3.30pm participants will have the opportunity to witness the diverse role of the largest Air Force Base in Australia and experience operations under the close supervision of highly professional Defence personnel.
Special Conditions of Placement: When applying students must demonstrate a desire for work in the Air Force. Dress regulations apply. Applications close 3 weeks prior to placement date, unless allotment is already full, whereby notification will only be advised on this website.
NOTE:as there is no public transport to Amberley, participants are advised to arrange prompt pick up and drop off with their guardian/parents or school.

This form must be submitted to your school work experience coordinator for submission to Defence. Confirmation of your application will be provided to your school work experience coordinator.
