Overview of Placement: A program of indoor and outdoor activities providing participants with an insight into a wide range of Army activities. Commencing at approx 7.30am and finishing at 3.30pm each day, participants can witness the role of a Heavy Road Transport Unit under the close supervision of highly professional Defence personnel. Insights into air dispatch support, bulk transport, logistics, workshop maintenance and other specialisations are offered.
Special Conditions of Placement: Applicant must have a desire for a career in or show an interest in Defence. Appropriate footwear and clothing are mandatory. Sport activities are offered as part of this placement.
NOTE: Due to the location of the unit, participants must arrange prompt drop off and pick up at the conclusion of each days activities.
