Overview of Placement: 5th Aviation Regiment provides air mobility and battlefield support in a joint, combined or interagency environment. 5th Aviation Regiment is home to Blackhawk, Chinook and MRH90 aircraft.

As part of this work experience placement, students will rotate through the five different Squadrons within the Regiment, including flying, logistics and maintenance squadrons.

Students will have the opportunity to observe and experience a range of roles across the Regiment, including those of pilots, aircraft technicians, aircraft life support fitters and logistics personnel. Students may also be involved in other activities including visiting the armoury, participating in PT sessions and eating a meal at the Mess facility.
Special Conditions of Placement: As students may participate in Unit PT (Physical Training), they should have a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Students must wear enclosed footwear at all times.

These placements are targeted at students with an interest in Army Aviation.
