Type of Placements: As part of a structured visit to Lavarack Barracks, students will be involved in demonstrations, presentations and practical activities at a range of 3 Brigade units, which may vary between visits and could include infantry, artillery, medical/dental, engineers, PTI's, transport, logistics etc.
Duration of Placement: 1 day
9.00am to 3.00pm
Placement Limits: 30 students maximum per visit
Overview of Placement: A structured program of indoor and outdoor activities at various 3 Brigade units, providing participants with a broad insight into the wide range of Army disciplines, duties and career options.

Commencing at 9.00am and finishing at approximately 3.00pm each day, students will have the opportunity to participate in demonstrations, presentations and practical activities under the close supervision of highly professional Defence personnel.

Students may participate in an Army Personal Fitness Assessment so should wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

Lunch is provided at no cost.
