| Duration of Placement: | 5 days Students also have the option to participate in two Tuesday night rehearsals plus one performance event. |
| Placement Limits: | Maximum 2 students per placement |
| Overview of Placement: | Participants will have the opportunity to witness the diverse role of an Army Musician. Each placement will see the participant involved in the production of a Band performance as well as mentoring in the musicianship and instrumental skills required for individual members, and the administration of the Unit. |
| Special Conditions of Placement: | Applicant must have a well established study path in music and must be competent (at least 4th grade AMEB standard or equivalent) on a musical instrument that would normally be included in either a Big Band or a Wind Band. There may also be scope for Guitar, Bass, Keyboards and Drums. Students must be able to read music. |
