Overview of Placement:

HMAS Penguin Medical Training School provides all Navy Medical training for Basic Medical Assistant, Advanced Medical Assistant, Clinical Managers, Underwater Medicine, Ships Medical Emergency Team, Minor War Vessle Medical Care and First Aid.

Work Experience students will observe and participate in the first three days of the Ships Medical Emergency Team course. Students may participate in lessons, both theoretical and practical, assist with equipment, participate in physical training and gain an insight into the Navy workplace.

Students are required to attend for 3 days between the hours of 0800 and 1600. Students are responsible for their own transport to and from the base.
